I wanted to share with everyone a brand new site that we have been putting together over the past couple of months: DC Critters. This site lists every House and Senate incumbent and the vote totals by county for each race. The site also lists any challenger or potential challenger for the seat in 2008 (the Senate seats that are up in 2010 and 2012 will be updated as candidates announce as well.)
This should be somewhat of a clearinghouse for election data and candidate announcements so we will keep it updated as the candidates begin to announce for 2008.
If you are a data geek like us, this site is pure heaven!
It's been a whirlwind since we read in The Columbus Dispatch on Dec 23rd that WTPG 1230AM Progressive Radio in Columbus was going to switch formats in Columbus to be yet another right wing radio station. This is scheduled to happen Jan 9th at 9:00am
Starting Christmas night, a group of us has been working to fight this and on the 26th, we launched:
Ohio Majority Radio
We are posting today to let everyone know about this new statewide political blog in Ohio. It is Reclaim Ohio, "politics from a Democratic point of view."
This site will cover Statewide office races (Governor, Senate, and the others) as well as State House and State Senate.
Please check out Reclaim Ohio to check out the posts, and post your own stories as well.
We also invite anyone who would like to be a front page poster to email ryan@linwoodservices.com to apply.
See you on Reclaim Ohio!
I am from the Youngstown area and I know that Youngstown can benefit greatly with Bob Hagan at the helm. I urge you to visit his site, learn about him, and contribute to his campaign to make Youngstown clean, safe and united!
